Sammy's Ear Tube Surgery

Yippee For us! yes we truly are very excited about this. We met with an ENT yesterday and discussed, well actually there was not much discussion, it was really just to hear what the Dr though about Sammy getting tubes in his ears. All four Dr.'s (UCLA, Ped., our specialist, and the Ent) all hands down were routing for it. Our Pediatrician actually had said that if the ENT tried to discourage the tubes to have him call her immediately. The UCLA Dr is hoping that by taking his monthly ear infections out of the equation that it will allow his body to start to build up his IGG levels. It is great to have such a great medical team behind us. So surgery is set for Sept 19. Please pray that we will be the first ones in. We will not know until the day before when surgery time will be, and Sammy cannot eat/drink after midnight the night before. I can already anticipate the fight that it will be.
